A girl who borrowed her friend's asthma inhaler at a school in Colorado got expelled because officials say she broke the school's drug policy. The school says no one is allowed to share prescription drugs, but the families of both girls are saying it was an accident.

The two were in gym class when the one girl couldn't breath so her friend let her borrow her inhaler. Both girls were sent home, but the girl who had the inhaler has been able to come back to school. The school stands by the punishment and so far isn't letting the student who borrowed the inhaler come back.

I understand students aren't allowed to share prescription drugs, but in an emergency when someone couldn't breath, don't you think the school should make an exception? Do you think she should have been expelled?
