GM Set To Reclaim Top Spot Again!

General Motors fumbled away the title as the world’s largest car-maker in 2008 to Toyota, but is poised to reclaim it this year. It has been a dramatic turnaround for the automaker. A combination of events have helped propel GM back to number one. Toyota’s recalls, Japan’s earthquake, and a historic shift in car buying have pulled GM out of bankruptcy. This year GM has 6.79 million sales, leading Toyota by over a million.The Toyota victory dance at number one lasted three years. Now GM is set to reclaim it’s throne!
