So you're probably trying to figure out what you can do this weekend in downtown Flint and if you're into jazz this is going to be the perfect event for you. Take time to stop by Riverbank Park for a great lineup of musicians, as well as a jazz walk that will take place tomorrow night.

The jazz walk will be from 6-11pm and the group will start at the White Horse Tavern, then head to Cork, The Loft, The Torch and other locations. CEO of the Greater Flint Arts Council, Greg Fiedler, says in a recent press release: "It really is an exciting appetizer for this year's festival."

Headliners for the festival which starts Friday will be Joe Freyre and his band Ephiphany, Tito Puente Jr. on Saturday and Regina Belle on Sunday.  There's also going to be a special fundraising jazz event on Saturday which will benefit VSA of Genesee County, an organization that promotes art actitivies for people with disabilities.

This seems like it's going to be a really cool event and one more reason to hang out in downtown Flint because there's going to be a lot going on this weekend. You can find more details on the event and other programs by going to the Greater Flint Arts Council site.
