The Greater Flint Arts Council in it's efforts to be ever evolving and supportive of the arts community, presents the second 2011 Jazz Walk. The event will take place at multiple venues in downtown Flint on Thursday, October 27th from 5-11 pm. Highly talented local jazz musicians will be playing in numerous clubs downtown.
Participating venues include the White Horse Tavern, Cork on Saginaw, The Torch, 501 Bar & Grill, Blackstone's, The Loft, Raspberries Rhythm Cafe & Bar and the Soggy Bottom Bar. Artists participating include: Dave Huber and Friends, Smooth Operation, Erick Majied and Majestic Vibes, Lynn Garrett, Blu Mykals, Stephanie and Spectrum, Tatu and possibly some surprise artists. Greg Fiedler, President and CEO of the Greater Flint Arts Council says, "Don't miss the chance to watch music created right before your eyes. It's going to be a great night!"
