Amazon Drivers Forced to Sign Biometric Consent Forms or Lose
Your Amazon delivery driver is under constant supervision. From the time he or she leaves the distribution center and brings packages to your porch to the time he or she is done for the day, drivers are monitored by artificial intelligence.

This week, Amazon drivers across the country were given a choice: Sign a Biometric consent form, or lose your job.
Cameras, which are being installed in all Amazon delivery vehicles, will be capable of recording drivers' location, movement, and biometric data.

Roughly 75,000 Amazon drivers will have to consent to be monitored by the technology which employs facial recognition software.
"Amazon may… use certain Technology that processes Biometric Information, including on-board safety camera technology which collects your photograph for the purposes of confirming your identity and connecting you to your driver account," the form reads. "Using your photograph, this Technology, may create Biometric Information, and collect, store, and use Biometric Information from such photographs."
According to Vice, the form goes on to say that the technology tracks vehicle location and movement, the number of miles driven, speed, acceleration, braking, turns, and following distance.
Reuters reports that the cameras will also be able to detect when driers yawn, appear distracted, or fail to wear a seatbelt.
