A police officer in Huron County has been getting a lot of hits on YouTube, and a lot of praise from PETA. Officer Ryan Swartz of the Huron County Sheriff's Department responded a car-deer accident on Hellems Road in Dwight Township Friday, and found a dazed doe standing in the middle of the road.
Swartz picked up the doe, and gently moved her to the opposite side of the road. He took a minute to pet the animal, before she sprinted off.

August 31, 2011 Don't drink and drive. We hear it all the time, but some still haven't gotten the message. It was a typical Saturday last weekend for police officer Kevin Johnson and his canine partner Boze. Typical until their police car was hit head on by a drunk driver.
