After 106 years one of the oldest businesses in Genesee county, Fortino's in Swartz Creek, has closed its doors for good.

Hard to believe as it is, but the very LAST Sears department store in Michigan is closing its doors.

The furniture retailer opened their first store in Michigan just four short months ago.

We've lost so many businesses and attractions that brought character to Genesee County. First it was Auto World, now it's Sports Creek Raceway.

I hate to see this happen. I shop at both stores. I love VG's.
