Heard a lot of talk about this yesterday and was wondering what everybody thinks?

I went to the Burton Memorial Day parade yesterday and heard some chatter about the fireworks show that was set for dusk. A lot of people were aking questions about it - was it going to happen because of the new Michigan fireworks laws? If it DID happen, was it appropriate for such a somber holiday?

I can see both sides of the argument. Some people see fireworks as a trigger for PTSD for, ironically, veterans. Others see them as big, booming displays of appreciation.

What do YOU think?
