Kaitlyn Watson found out some good news while working the drive-thru window at Culver's. (I'm not crying, you're crying.)

Watson is the valedictorian of the class of 2020 at Grand Traverse Academy in Traverse City. Principal Michelle Floering shared the news with Watson through the drive-thru window at the Culver's restaurant where Watson works.

"So I got you on camera because I want to announce something to you today. You are GTA's 2020 class valedictorian!" she told Watson. "And I know we have to stay six feet away so I can't give you a hug, but congratulations! Well deserved!"

Michigan schools were shuttered on March 16 by Governor Gretchen Whitmer in order to slow the spread of coronavirus. She's expected to make an announcement this week regarding whether schools will reopen before the end of the school year.

In all the excitement, Principal Floering even remembered to get her credit card back after giving Watson the news.

Congratulations, Kaitlyn. Well done.
