You don't have to know somebody to help them out, right?

A woman and her son, whose name is Bobby Davis, were walking through the parking lot of Meijer on Tittabawassee Road in Kochville Township this past Saturday when they heard somebody screaming.

A 45-year-old woman was loading groceries into her car when a man identified at Bradley Alan Bremer from Saginaw tried to get into her car. She tried to fight him off with a shopping cart, and that's when Davis stepped in.

Davis and another person, unidentified, cornered the man until the police arrived. Another woman drove by, saying he just tried to do the same thing to her.

Saginaw County Sheriff William Federspiel said that Mr. Davis and the other good samaritan will be honored with civilian citations at an upcoming ceremony. The man has been charged with attempted carjacking.
