Ford Focus, Fiesta Owners Could Get Thousands of $$ a Piece in Lawsuit
This is a bigger deal than the $1.46 you got in the tuna lawsuit, my friends.
Yesterday, a federal judge approved a class-action lawsuit against the Ford Motor Co. that could result in the "repurchase" of Focuses and Fiestas for up to $22,000 apiece.
2012-16 Focuses and 2011-16 Fiestas were built with transmissions that, according to the suit, were prone to "shuddering, slipping, bucking, jerking, hesitation while changing gears, premature internal wear, delays in downshifting and, in some cases, sudden or delayed acceleration.”
Car owners will have seven months to file their buyback claim, which you can do HERE.
