Schools in Indiana may soon be required to teach students how to write in cursive. A bill authored by Republican Senator Jean Leising has passed in the Senate, but has yet to be approved by the state House.

According to WILX, cursive became optional curriculum in 2011. Leising has proposed the measure every year since.

What do you think? Should schools be required to teach cursive handwriting, or has its usefulness become antiquated?
