Today is August 20, which means that it's "National Radio Day."  National Radio Day celebrates a great invention and communications medium, which dates back to the late 1800's.

Radio has evolved over the years, but it is still free entertainment and information.  These days, you can listen to radio stations over the airwaves, through your computer, and on your smartphone.

Radio is your companion at home, in the car, on the job and many other places.  We make you laugh, make you angry, make you sing along to your favorite song, and perhaps give you a fabulous prize for being the 8th caller.

I have been fortunate to have had a career in radio that is now in it's 4th decade.  I got my start spinning records at WDHS at Davison High School back in 1976.  I never imagined that I would ever be able to make a living doing this.

Thank you for lending an ear over the years!
