Take A Tour Inside The Citizen’s Bank Weather Ball – Cars 108 Exclusive [VIDEO]

Though the look of Downtown Flint will change this summer when the Genesee Towers are demolished, since 1956 the Citizen's Bank Weather Ball has dominated the Flint Skyline. I wondered how it works since I was a kid, and I finally had the chance to see it up close, and personal!

The question is, how long will it be around? I took this tour last fall, but executives at Citizens Bank didn't want this report to go public until after their sale to FirstMerit Corporation was complete.  The sale went through on April 12, 2013.

So will the new owners keep the Weather Ball up and running as a symbol of Flint's history, or will it come down like the Genesee Towers?
