Lady Gaga will appear on the season finale of ‘The Simpsons’ on FOX on Sunday, May 20. She will be playing herself and has taken along a complete wardrobe change for the show, totaling 18 separate outfits. FOX has released an image of Gaga from her episode exclusively via EW and she looks fashion forward, even as a cartoon.

When we heard about ‘The Simpsons’ Ultimate Fan Marathon Challenge, in which ‘Simpsons’ fanatics would compete to see who could watch all 500 episodes of Springfield’s finest in a row, we said it couldn’t be done. Eighty-six hours and 37 minutes of continuous TV watching without any sleep just seemed too much for any human to endure, even though ‘Simpsons’ fans are made of strong stuff (and also beer and doughnuts).

It turns out we were wrong.

'The Simpsons' Likely to End Soon, Regardless of Contract Issue

Things in Springfield may come to an abrupt halt, regardless of whether the current contract dispute with its voice actors is resolved. Now Fox officials are saying that even if the actors acquiesce, and agree to the pay cut, next year (season 24) will be the series' last.

D'oh! "The Simpsons", TV's longest-running sitcom, may end after its 23rd season. Its possible demise is not because of a ratings issue - the series is practically a license to print money for Fox - but because of a contract dispute between the production company and The Simpsons' principal voice actors.
