May 12, 2012 The Salvation Army is looking for donations of electronic devices, TV's, computers, radios, monitors and more next Saturday, May 19th . Tell your friends, family and co-workers so they can bring their unused items to dispose of them responsibly.
Are you trying to figure out what to do with the kids this summer? The Salvation Army will be holding two summer day camps for kids in the area, with a chance for your kids to participate in fun activities all day long.
There's only a few more days left where you can donate to the Salvation Army red kettles. You've seen them set up at a variety of locations throughout Genesee County and unfortunately donations are down right now. The number of families receiving help with toys, food and clothing has reached almost 1,300 and you can still help by donating to the kettle or buying a toy for someone else in need.
The Salvation Army will be taking applications from Genesee County residents who need Christmas assistance starting Wednesday, November 30th through Friday, December 2nd from 9:30 am until 2:30 pm each day. The program is designed to help Genesee County residents who would otherwise be unable to celebrate Christmas.
Join Rod and me on Friday from 6am until noon at Tim Hortons as we collect toys for the Salvation Army. We'll be at the Bristol Road location right by 475 and we could use your help since the need is even greater this year for the Salvation Army
