March 14 is Pi Day & Einstein’s Birth Anniversary
March 14th, or 3/14 is recognized by mathematicians as "Pi Day." Pi is the ratio of a circle's circumference to it's diameter, or roughly 3.14. Math teachers use Pi Day as a way to inject a bit of fun into their lessons. Pi Day is also the birth anniversary of the great physicist/mathematician Albert Einstein.
