The 30-second-video shows the man, apparently the girls' father, dishing out punishment after finding out his two teen daughters have posted a 'twerk' video on Facebook.
It's always heartbreaking to hear stories of child abuse, neglect and murder, especially when it's one of our own. The story of a 2-and-a-half-year-old from Lapeer who was sexually abused and murdered by her step mom will be featured on TV tonight.
This is truly disturbing. Apparently, this mother was yelling at her daughter in a New Jersey Walmart for a good 10 minutes before a concerned patron began filming. What she caught on video is shocking.
The little girl had a broken arm, yet the mother had her standing in the cart to reach some clothes. Find out what happens after the jump.
I have three kids, all of whom are very picky eaters. I struggle to get them to eat their dinner, and it sometimes turns into a stand off. I have threatened them with no bedtime snacks, but would never go as far as this Sanilac County woman did.
Usually when you think of school bullying, you think it's being done by students. Think again. A 14-year-old special-needs girl in Ohio was the victim of bullying - bullying by her teacher and the teacher's aide.
(Clearly, these two won't make Rod & Erin's Teacher Honor Roll)
Cheyanne (whose last name was withheld from the video on NBC's Today Show) then went to school armed with a hidden tape recorder, outfitted by her father. Some of the things caught on tape were disturbing:
Yesterday, we talked about the video that had gone viral which included a Texas judge beating his daughter with a belt over using the internet. We found out the judge specializes in child abuse cases and his daughter released the video because she wanted him to get help. According to The Today Show, police can't file charges because too much time has elapsed.
A judge in Texas is under fire after a video went viral showing him beating his daughter with a belt because she was using the internet without permission. Fox News reports the judge claims the video isn't as bad as people think and is trying to apologize for his behavior.
He hasn't been removed from the bench yet, but do you think he should be? When I first saw this video, I was appalled, especially because this guy is a judge. You can watch this very disturbing video after the jump.
I'm sure everyone remembers Dominick Calhoun, the boy who died as a result of child abuse. His mom and her then boyfriend have been charged and in the meantime, Dominick's grandparents have been pushing for laws to increase punishment for child abusers. The Calhoun family will be going to Lansing tomorrow to help get the word out to the people that child abuse affects, according to a press release.
We were all heart-broken when we heard of the tragic death of Dominick Calhoun on April 12, 2010. Now, almost a year-and-a-half later, jury selection is under way for the trial of Brandon Hayes.
Hayes was charged with the abuse, torture and murder of Dominic on April 15, 2010. Corrine Baker, Dominick's mother who was also beaten, was charged with second-degree murder on April 23, 2010.
Here we go, another nomination for 'Mother of the Year'. If you're a parent, I'm sure you have or have had moments when you feel like your about to lose your mind or all patience with the kids. I can tell you when my kids were little, I had my moments, but never to the point of harming them like 21-year-old Jessica Callaway. Get the story after the jump.
Corrine Baker, mother of four-year-old Dominick Calhoun who died in April of 2010, has pleaded guilty two charges tied to his murder. ABC-12 reports she pleaded guilty to second degree murder and second degree child abuse. Investigators felt Corrine didn't do enough to stop the abuse that Calhoun suffered.
