Small Boy Battles Pit Bulls To Save Sister

Eleven year-old Maleik Carr and his five-year-old sister have to pass a house on their way to school that has two unchained pit bulls in the yard. The yard is fenced in, but something was different on Monday. It seems that sometime over the weekend a hole appeared in the fence, and when the young children approached the house, the pit bulls attacked the young girl..

Maliek was her only hope. He began kicking the vicious canines and allowed his sister to escape. When that happened the dogs turned their attention on him.He defended himself with a small chair that was nearby, and he jumped a fence to escape the dogs.

Maliek's legs now are the home of multiple stitches, but the brave young man may have saved his sister's life.
