Signing Waivers At Birthday Parties Angers Some Parents

Whatever happened to the old fashioned birthday parties where kids eat some cake and run around outside. With parties becoming more extravagant these days, some parents are making kids sign waivers before they come over to their house for a birthday party.

One mom was really annoyed that she was told by another parent that they had to sign a waiver before the child came over for the party, just in case her son was injured. She thought the waiver was out of line and tacky. Would you sign a waiver? Do you think this is way too extreme?
