Santa Fun Run Saturday Morning at Flint Farmers Market

The 10th annual Santa Fun Run and Walk will take place Saturday, December 24th at 8:30 am at the Flint Farmers Market. The event is free of charge and you are asked to dress like Santa.

If you don't have a Santa hat, one will be given to you (also free) courtesy of George Gawthrop, the man who started this thing as a run with a few friends on Christmas Eve morning 10 years ago. You have the option of running/walking 3 or 6 miles, maps will be provided if you need one.

Last year, over 200 people took part in the festivities. The Farmers Market will be open that day for last-minute shoppers. It's a great way to burn off some holiday stress and holiday calories!

Personally, I usually end up comsuming more calories than I burn off at this run, as it is hard to visit the Flint Farmers Market without taking home some goodies.
