Salvation Army Bell-Ringer Has Cops Called
Do you ever feel like you've heard enough of the bell ringing? About a week ago a woman reached her level of acceptance and finally burst.
Sarah Hamilton-Parker says that she has had enough. “I listen to this for 200 hours a year, this is my fourth year, and I can't take it anymore. I'm so sick of it. ” All of those 200 hours breaks down to about 40 hours a week of Salvation Army bell ringing.
The special permits for the season that the Salvation Army gets allows them to ring the bells without recourse, according to the police.
