Red Wings Win 17th Straight At Home

Another win at home for the Red Wings last night. They are nearing a record set in 1929 by the Boston Bruins. During that season the Bruins won 20 in a row at home. The Red Wings streak reached 17 last night with a 3-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues at Joe Louis Arena. Johann Frantzen got the winning goal for the Red Wings as they maintain dominance on their home ice. The last loss suffered at home was November 3rd to the Calgary Flames. The Boston Bruins set the mark of twenty straight home win back in the days of the Original Six teams that made up the national Hockey league.
