The protestors have been out in front of the Kellogg Eye Center since June, demanding Dr. Ross's reinstatement.

I was riding my bike down Grand Blanc Road on Thursday, when I passed the protestors. Maybe it's my college journalism background coming out, but I stopped to find out what was going on.

After talking to some of the protestors, I decided to do my own research. I found that ABC 12 had done a story about it back in July.

We contacted the University for a statement didn't hear back. However, here is the full statement they gave to ABC 12:

"The University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center is pleased to serve patients here in Grand Blanc since this clinic joined our health system late last year. We anticipate that Dr. Robin Ross will continue to be a valued member of our Kellogg faculty. Dr. Ross is currently not seeing patients here, however we value greatly her service to this community. We are working with Dr. Ross on her career path with us at the University of Michigan. Our staff of 5 ophthalmology specialists will be seeing Dr. Ross’ patients. We encourage anyone in need for eye care to call our office for an appointment."

I'm definitely curious to see how this all pans out. I've never seen a protest go on for this long without resolve.
