Paramedic Runs with Injured Crim Participant to the Finish Line

This guy was not about to let his injury ruin his race, so a paramedic stepped in to help.

The Crim is arguably one of (if not THE) biggest events in Flint, and this weekend was no different. Thousands of runners and spectators gathered on Saginaw St. on Saturday morning to kick off the events. Unfortunately, there was no shortage of injuries. One of my Crim training leaders actually fell and broke her wrist and had to have surgery yesterday!

Another runner fell and hit his head towards the end of the race. The man, who is unidentified, was bleeding from his injuries, but he wanted to finish the race. So an MMR paramedic accompanied him to the finish line.
