We've been out this week during Back to the Bricks for the rolling cruises and the million dollar motorway party at Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy. ‘Back To Bricks’ Offers More Than Just Classic Cars

"Hometown Heroes of Michigan" will be on hand as part of the "Back to the Bricks" celebration on Saturday in downtown Flint. "Hometown Heroes" is a non-profit organization that provides every individual with medical equipment and supplies at no cost, so that they may lead a healthy and independent life. They pledge to find the equipment for free or at a low cost. Items available include walkers, wheelchairs, canes, lift beds, diabetic supplies, bed rails, grab bars, shower chairs, feeding tube equipment, and more.

Thursday Night ‘Bricks” Cruise Hours Altered By Massive Crowds

The City of Burton earlier this afternoon adjusted the hours of this evenings "Back to the Bricks" cruise along Saginaw street. The cruise tonight will shut down at 9pm sharp according to local police. Crowds have been even larger than expected and police are concerned for the safety of everyone on the cruise, and those large crowds settled in along the side of the road.

Back to the Bricks Continues

Back to the Bricks kicked off Tuesday with Bricks Flicks so if you haven't had a chance to check out the event, you'll have another chance today. There will be another rolling cruise tonight on Saginaw Street and you can look for Rod and I as we take the Cars vehicle around town. There's also going to be plenty of entertainment the next few days.

* The Genesee County Fair" is happening at the E.A. Cummings Center on Mt. Morris Road. Admission is free, with $5 parking.

* The Machine Shop features the band "Polkadot Cadaver" on Friday night, and a hairband tribute on Saturday.

* The Flint Children's Museum gives kids a chance to explore a world of wonders for just $6.

Old Newsboys Fundraiser Follows ‘Back To The Bricks’

If you've walked the 'bricks" and seen all the cars, but you are still not ready to go home, the Old Newsboys would love you to come join them at Bubba O'Malley's for an after-glow tent party! Located on Belsay Road, near I-69, there will be food, drinks, entertainment and fun! Gates open at 5pm. The $5 gate fee will be donated to the Old Newsboys to support their Holiday Box Program.
