Rihanna will show her love for the people of New Orleans with a performance at Brad Pitt’s Make It Right charity event on March 10. The event was coordinated to help raise monies for families who lost their homes during Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
January 24, 2012 Hollywood is getting ready to roll out the red carpet for the 84th Academy Awards. The live event takes place on Sunday, February 26th at 7pm and will be broadcast on ABC12. This morning at 8:30, the announcement came down revealing this year's nominees.
Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" picked up the most nominations totaling 11, while silent film "The Artist" racked up 10 nominations. Lion fans reached halftime with a 14-10 lead over the powerful New Orleans Saints, so there was hope for Lions' fans desperate for a playoff win. In the end the Saints would prevail 45-28 and send the Lions home for the season.
