Thanksgiving is fast approaching. On Thursday, November 23rd, families all over Michigan will be celebrating the holiday with turkey, side dishes, and Detroit Lions football.

When it comes to Thanksgiving side dishes more often than not, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and stuffing are a given. However, a few years ago we asked Michigan residents what unique side dishes they serve on Thanksgiving.

We put together some of your dishes that intrigued us the most (see below).
