Has Michael Moore Gone Too Far?

Alexandra Wyman, Getty Images

Michael Moore actually wants to help Wikileaks founder Julian Assange get out of a British jail.  He is actually willing to put up $20,000 of his own money for bail. In addition, Moore is also offering his website, servers, and anything else to keep Wikileaks online.  He’s probably doing this so he can use the information to do a documentary in the future.  This seems crazy even for Moore since Assange is in jail because of a Swedish arrest warrant in a sex-crimes investigation, not for leaking documents.  Hopefully this won’t work and Assange will stay in prison for a very long time.
