Mayor Dayne Walling stopped by the studio this morning for another round of battle of the sexes. Before we started, we decided to talk a little business and he mentioned the Occupy Flint demonstration that is supposed to take place tomorrow. Roughly 300 people are expected to show up at noon in front of Bank of America in downtown Flint to speak out about the government. Walling says he supports the movement:

"I support the exercise of freedom of speech. Certainly we're no stranger in Flint to large downtown events. Our officers are trained and prepared and will respond if necessary. We expect it to be a peaceful demonstration and it's an exercise of democratic participation."

People in other cities are following the Occupy Wall Street protest because they are fed up with many challenges, including the recent layoffs of police and firefighters in the city of Flint.
