Mariah Carey Compares her ‘American Idol’ Job to Hell [Video]

In a recent interview, Mariah Carey discussed her 'American Idol' experience and compared the working conditions to hell.

Carey, who you'll remember feuded with fellow judge Nicki Minaj for the entire season, says she was blindsided by Minaj's hiring and compared her to Satan. "It was like hell, like going to work every day in hell with Satan" were Carey's exact words. Mariah also said she felt a lot of talented people weren't put through to the next round for political reasons. She admits that compared to 'American Idol' she likes being in the studio much more and going on tour, so she's going back to that. Her new album 'The Art of Letting Go' is expected in February.
