LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: Greater Genesee County Pizza Throwdown

Another excuse to eat pizza and not cook dinner - this Thursday is the 5th annual Greater Genesee County Pizza Throwdown at Faithway Christian Academy in Burton.

Local pizza vendors include Funky Dogs, Twins, Hungry Howies, Captain Quarters, Enzos, Guidos, Huckleberry Junction & Little Caesars. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $10 for adults, $5 for students, $8 for veterans and $30 for a family pass - up to six people who live under the same roof.

All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund of Faithway Christian Academy K-12.
