Anyone who knows about Ross has been waiting patiently for the doors to open in Burton since word broke that the mega fashion discount store would be heading our way. The popular California-based Ross Stores, Inc., operating under the brand name Ross Dress for Less, announced early in 2023 that they would be bringing several new locations to Michigan.

Genesee County residents were thrilled to hear shortly after that Courtland Center in Burton would welcome its own Ross Dress for Less location to the mall. No sooner had Staples announced their exit, than Ross was poised to take over the empty space. It seemed construction and renovation began quickly, but the biggest question on everyone's mind was, when would it open? It looks like we finally know.

When is Ross Dress For Less Opening in Burton?

Word came out this week that Ross would be opening their doors in March, but originally there was no actual date. Most reports only indicated the store would be opening, but provided little more details.

This week many in the area received emails indicating that Ross for Less in Burton would have its Grand Opening on March 9th. The email was a corrected version of one sent earlier indicating a March 2 opening.
