Katy Perry Uses Unusual Method to Announce New Album [Photo]

Katy Perry has announced some details of her new album, but what's interesting is the way she did it.

Perry took to Twitter to alert her followers to be on the lookout for a gold semi truck rolling through the streets of L.A. The 'California Gurl' singer said if anyone tweeted a picture of the truck, she would retweet them. Fellow pop singer Adam Lambert did just that.

Perry's new album 'Prism' is scheduled to drop on October 22, 2013.
