Karen Goes Home on ‘Idol’

I was kind of surprised that Karen Rodriguez got sent home last night on ‘American Idol.’ I never understood why she would sing in English and Spanish, but I thought she would have stuck around for a few more weeks. After talking to a lot of people yesterday, most of us thought Thia or Naima would have been sent home last night. I would like to see Lauren or Haley go home next week, because I don’t think either of them know what kind of artist they want to be. Hopefully Scotty won’t do another slow song because he has the voice to be able to sing anything.

Lee DeWyze performed and offered advice to the contestants. Even though he won last year, he hasn’t done anything with his career. He shouldn’t feel bad because that’s what happens with most of the winners. Tune in next week to see what happens.
