We tend to forget that some people have no place to go and no budget to shop with, so let's pass this along to our fellow Flintstones.

It's okay if the only place you're volunteering tomorrow is your own kitchen; many of us are hosting or have a destination for Thanksgiving dinner. But for those who don't, there's many local organizations offering free meals tomorrow.

*The International Academy of Flint on 2820 South Saginaw St. is hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free transportation is available from MTA at these stops.

*The North End Soup Kitchen on 735 Stewart Ave. is hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner Thursday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., sponsored by the Well of Hope Catholic Charity.

*The Barn bar at 715 Torrey Road in Fenton is hosting a free Thanksgiving meal for anybody in need from 11:30-1 PM on Thursday.

*The Unitarian Universalist Congregation located at 2474 S. Ballenger Hwy is hosting a free Thanksgiving meal on Thursday from 2-4 PM. Guests are encouraged to bring a side if they can.

*Carriage Town Ministries at 605 Garland Street is hosting a free Thanksgiving meal for anybody in the community starting at 5 PM on Thursday. There will be a special chapel service before dinner.

*The American Legion Riders Post 64 at G-4314 W. Carpenter Road will host a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday from 1-4 PM. Donations are accepted but not required.

Hope everybody can find somewhere to go and enjoy their day, and Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Cars 108!
