Flint Festival of Quilts Starts Tomorrow

If you're looking for another art event to attend, make sure to check out the Flint Festival of Quilts which starts tomorrow and goes until Saturday. There are 11 venues in and around downtown Flint and the Cultural Center, with each location featuring its own theme. The festival starts every day at 9am and goes until 5pm.

The event is put on by the Greater Flint Arts Council and is expected to bring in a variety of people, according to President and CEO Greg Fiedler:

"Quilting is as American as apple pie. Our Flint Festival of Quilts annually attracts quilters from every corner of the country to celebrate their craft here in Genesee County."

I've heard from a lot of people that it's a really cool event and you'll also have a chance to win quilts and other great prizes.
