Once again, Flint has a distinction that no other city wants -- the most dangerous city in the country, according to this report just released by the FBI. Detroit is right behind, coming in at number two.

The standings reflect no change, as Flint and Detroit ranked number one and two respectively when the FBI released its last report in June of 2012.

Flint reports 2,337 violent crimes per 1,000 people. Flint also leads the pack in forcible rapes, reporting 83 per 100,000 residents, which more than triples the national average.

The FBI defines violent crime as murder and non-negligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault.

In December, Flint's 66th homicide tied the record set in 2010.
