Difficulties In Finding Jury For Dominick Calhoun Trial [VIDEO]

We were all heart-broken when we heard of the tragic death of Dominick Calhoun on April 12, 2010. Now, almost a year-and-a-half later, jury selection is under way for the trial of Brandon Hayes.

Hayes was charged with the abuse, torture and murder of Dominic on April 15, 2010.  Corrine Baker, Dominick's mother who was also beaten, was charged with second-degree murder on April 23, 2010.

For almost a week, a judge in Genesee County has been attempting to seat a jury in the Brandon Hayes trial with no luck.  The judge has since dismissed the potential jurors for a number of reasons such as the nature of the case and the pre-trial publicity.  Starting all over, the jury selection will begin again with a whole new group of jurors.  Another possibility would be to move the trial to another county.
