Detroit Food Truck Owner Reluctantly Removes Offensive ‘Cheese Sticks’ Description [VIDEO]

Joe Sciamanna says the description used to illustrate his food truck's mozzarella cheese sticks "was just a joke." Dago Joe's menu touts the item as "Not just breaded, they're battered, like your wife. With your choice of sauces or ranch dressing."

"We're not joking about battered women," he told Detroit's WXYZ. "We're just joking about the battered mozzarella sticks."

Other items on Dago Joe's menu have a playful slant as well, touting meatballs that can be served in your pocket, and garlic knots that come with special secret buttery buttery stuff.

Sciamanna goes on to say that "Most people get it. We're fun. We'd never condone anything like that."
