Davison Festival of Flags Starts Wednesday

If you haven't had a chance to go to Davison's Festival of Flags, it kicks-off Wednesday with a parade, followed by fireworks at dusk. There are plenty of activities that will be going on through Sunday so don't miss out on this great event.

Of course you can ride your favorite carnival rides, participate in the car cruise, ice cream social, family movie night and the pizza eating contest. I always find it quite entertaining to watch people try to win eating contests because they usually have some sort of bizarre strategy to try to win.

On Saturday there's a pancake breakfast, strong man competition, art in the park and a family concert in the evening. This is supposed to be a great event and fun for the entire family. The new Miss Davison and court will also be there so you'll have a chance to meet the girls.
