Principal On Leave For Letting Students Swallow Cinnamon
Students at a school in Connecticut participated in a "cinnamon challenge" during lunch and now the principal is on leave for allowing it to happen. The students were swallowing spoonfuls of cinnamon, but some say this has resulted in fits of coughing and even vomiting in other cases of this challenge going on at other schools.
Massive Brawl At A High School Is Caught On Video
Because kids have nothing better to do in school. Police were called to a troubled Texas high school after another major brawl erupted in the cafeteria and parents say they have had enough. The school, Dekaney High School in north Harris County, Texas, isn't known for its fine education but for riots instead.

Flint Student Grows Hair For Charity; Gets Suspended
One Flint student just got suspended from school over the length of his hair. 17-year-old J.T. Gaskins is a leukemia survivor who wanted to donate his hair to Locks of Love, but school officials at Madison Academy say his hair length is a violation of school policy, according to The Detroit News.

If you're expecting a baby, especially if it's your first, Genesys is offering a free Infant Safety class which is designed to help new parents keep their newborn safe from harm and safe from injury after birth. The next class will be offered on Tuesday, January 31st from 6-8 pm. Upcoming classes will be offered every month.
