Butterflies To Honor Cancer Kids

About 150 butterflies will be released this Saturday in honor of children who have battled cancer. The event begins at noon at Payton's Place, a pavilion at Elms Road Elementary School. At 1pm the group will release the butterflies in sync with 11 other similar events across the country. There will also be a kickball game at 2pm that is open to all ages.It is all in conjunction with Camp Quality to help raise awareness of pediatric cancer.
