Bishop International Airport Offering New Nonstop Flights to Chicago
On Thursday, Bishop International Airport and United Express introduced new nonstop jet service to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
The first flight departed for United’s hub in Chicago at 10:53 a.m. after a ceremony at the gate and a fire truck water cannon salute. Speakers included Airport Director Jim Rice, Genesee County Commissioner Jaime Curtis, Flint City Council Vice President Bryant Nolden and Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson.
The United Express schedule to and from Chicago O’Hare include three daily flights with departures as early as 6:05 a.m. and returns as late as 9:47 p.m. For more information on Bishop International Airport and other United flights scheduled to Chicago, click here.
Along with the news about United’s expansion, Bishop also made another major announcement. For the first time in the airport’s history they are now a 100 percent jet serviced airport.
