Wendy’s Set to Launch Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger

Get ready to whet your appetite, as fast-food giant Wendy's prepares to unveil a new premium-priced burger, the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger. Wendy's has been testing the cheeseburger on a dense pretzel bun in several markets, and is likely to debut it nationwide this fall.

Representatives from the chain said the new burger has tested "as well as any Wendy's test items from the last 20 years."

“Five-star breads at three-star prices,” a Wendy's spokesman told Columbus Business First. The chain also plans to experiment with other bread options, including flatbreads and artisan buns.
