The 20th annual Gathering Of The Juggalos is less than a week away, and this ostentatious event is highly regarded as a crowning achievement to two high school drop outs turned platinum selling artists, Joseph Bruce (Violent J) and Joseph Ustler (Shaggy 2 Dope), who make up the horror-core rap duo Insane Clown Posse from Detroit. Through the years, ICP has been in the mainstream limelight off and on, while still maintaining their underground freshness. I've been down with these guys since I was 12, and it's amazing the level of energy they still put forth in their shows and the fact that they've stayed true to their roots.

The Gathering takes place July 31st through August 3rd and features national artists performing on multiple stages, along with carnival rides, at times lawlessness, contests, comedy, and even wrestling. One of the most anticipated events to take place during the Gathering is a wrestling match between Violent J and his childhood friend, Rude Boy. The two have been feuding over the internet and in person over the last few months which is culminating to an epic battle of friend vs friend... brother vs brother. Violent J is a former wrestler in WWE and WCW along with their independent brand, Juggalo Championsh*t Wrestling. Rudy is a former JCW Champion himself. This match-up has never and may never again take place. I have love for both of these dudes, but here's my prediction: Violent J (UPSETS) Rudy by Pinfall, followed by a brotherly and respected embrace.
