Several accidents covered Genesee County this morning with our first snow of the season. While things started to clear after a rough morning rush, one accident shut down US-23 took the life of one victim.

It was a difficult commute this morning for Mid-Michigan motorists. Freezing rain caused slippery conditions as temperatures hovered around the freezing point.
While areas to our north were slammed with snow, commuters were slamming their brakes on westbound I-69 for much of the morning. An accident involving a semi-truck is still causing a hefty backup, and the freeway remains closed at Belsay
Brace yourself if you thought last winter was brutal, this year is suppose to be equally as fun. The upper U.S. will get the brunt of the winter weather, especially when it comes to cold temps. That's just great.
