If you've noticed an increase in the mosquito population here in Michigan, it's not just your imagination. An abundance of rain has fallen on our state, and as a result, the mosquito population is exploding.

Summer is finally making it's arrival, and along with the warm temps and fun in the sun comes those tiny, little, pesky, intruders of the season.....mosquitoes. When it comes to mosquitoes, Michigan seems to be bombarded with them when summer arrives...

With all of the Coronavirus pandemic coverage you may have forgotten about EEE, but the deadly virus has made its way into Michigan.

Our "bug barometer" here in the mitten isn't looking great right now. For humans, that is.

The EEE virus (Eastern Equine Encephalitis) is embedding itself a little more in Mid-Michigan with a deer now testing positive in Fenton Township.

Local schools are letting parents and students know they are taking precautions with the latest news of more EEE cases.

It's important to note that no HUMANS have contracted it...yet.
