The 11-3 Spartans, who trailed 16-0 at halftime, pulled into a tie after Le'Veon Bell scored a 1-yard touchdown with 19 seconds left in regulation. It was the first time since 2001 that Michigan State won a post-season bowl game, and the first victory in five attempts while Mark Dantonio has been the Spartans' head coach. The display features over 50,000 twinkling lights which are set to music, including the "MSU Fight Song." I searched extensively quickly but didn't find any Christmas light shows honoring the U of M Wolverines.  Let us know if you find one!

The Michigan State Spartans football team travels to South Bend this afternoon to take on the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame in the shadow of the famous "Touchdown Jesus". It is visible from the football field and many of Notre Dames' fantastic come-from-behind wins have given some attribution to the statue. The Spartans enter today's 3:30pm clash with a 2-0 record, while the Fighting Iris
