Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day, and whether you agree or disagree with our military presence in the Middle East, we should all be thankful for the brave men and women who are their fighting for our right to be Americans! Memorial Day weekend means cookouts, camping and family outings to the lake for many. The real meaning for this holiday weekend can be found at veteran's memorials and cemeteries. It's important that we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy these freedoms.

As Memorial Day kicks off summer we all begin to plan our outdoor activities. For a lot of people it's the official beginning of grilling season. I grill through out the year even when there's snow on the ground. I still screw it up once in a while. Grilling can be fun and also very funny to watch.
